Everything seemed fine until I received the jsk, which was described as new, only tried on and flawless.
What I received instead is a dress with holes above the offical bow placement and waist ties with marks on the pearlescent surface. These flaws were not mentioned when they confirmed the condition as flawless in our private conversation.
They blamed btssb for shipping the jsk with the heavy bow attached and therefore for causing the damage. However, in the official photos the bow is attached at a lower position on another, sturdier fabric, which indicates that the seller had caused the damage when they tried the jsk on.
The jsk came pressed tightly into a postal bag and had no other protection, which might have caused the persistent marks on the waist ties (it wrinkled the fabric generally, but I do not mind it).
What disappointed me the most is the rude response I received after I messaged them about the concerns (I then asked for a partial refund and offered to pay the return shipping if they chose to take it back, which I find reasonable since I would not have bought this the dress with these flaws listed).
They had mentioned that they believe I am doing something 'fishy' and told me they did not need to see the pictures of the flaws, because they had already known about the holes. This means the seller was dishonest when they had described the dress as flawless. In the end I was ignored until I mentioned the PayPal protection.
I prepared coords and bought accessories for this dress, lost time and would lose money because of the return shipping. I am just disappointed, exhausted and sad.
They warned me that if PayPal should side with me, they had used a now cleared credit card and so I would be receiving no refund. I think this says enough about them.
